The website will remain operational until at least 2027 for reference purposes, and for the registration and transfer of product licences.
ModMultiSim help v3.07 - 2.3. Environment Properties - Display and Editing
Download manual: HTML
Properties added to the environment are displayed in this area of ModMultiSim's main window. This environment, as in the real world, is shared by all slaves.
The display and editing of environment properties is very similar to the display of slave registers described in the previous section.
Each of the table columns ( Name, Value, Type, Radix and Statement) are described in the section Add Property. The Updated column displays the time that a register was last written to.
Unlike slave registers, the Name may not be edited. However, the Value, Type, Radix, and Statement items of a register can be edited, as above, by clicking on the item in the table and then entering/selecting the new value. As with slave registers, to edit a statement, click the Statement checkbox. This will bring up the Edit Environment Property panel on → to allow a statement to be entered or edited. A quick guide to the language to use to enter a statement is provided in Language: Quick Start Guide followed by simulation examples. To remove a property entirely select the Delete a Property panel in → .
Editing of all columns (except Value and Radix) is disabled when ModMultiSim is serving the master or running the slave simulation, (i.e. when or are highlighted). Editing of the Radix column is always disabled when the type selected is a floating point or signed int.
