Please read the following information before downloading a product, purchasing a licence, or requesting a registration key.
By downloading a product, purchasing a licence, or requesting a registration key, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. In particular, please note that our products are copyright protected and subject to a licence agreement.
Licence agreement
When you download, purchase a licence for, or request a registration key for one of our software products, you are agreeing to the licence conditions for the use of that software.
There are two types of licence, with corresponding types of registration key:
Evaluation
For a single user on a single machine. This type of licence is free, but is usually valid for 3 days only. Unless otherwise stated in the product description, an evaluation licence/key allows use of all features of the software. Each customer will be granted only one evaluation period for each product.
Full
Also for a single user on a single machine, but allows use for an unlimited period.

VAT
Sales to the UK and Isle of Man are subject to VAT (Value Added Tax).
Sales to other countries are not subject to VAT, but may be subject to other local taxes. It is your responsibility to pay any such taxes.
If you are ordering from the UK or Isle of Man, then VAT at 20% will be added to the price of your purchase.

Delivery
Delivery of our products is electronic. The programs themselves can be downloaded from our products page. Licence numbers are delivered by email - see Licence purchase. Registration keys are also delivered by email - see Register a product.
Updates
Product updates are released for minor feature additions and bug fixes. When an update is released, the part of the version number after the dot changes (e.g. from version 1.09 to 1.10).
Updates are available free of charge - simply download the new version and use it with the registration key you already have.
Upgrades
There are two kinds of licence upgrade available: a version upgrade is to a later version of a product, and a level upgrade is to a less restrictive licence for the same version of a product.
Version Upgrades
Product upgrades are released for major feature additions. When an upgrade is released, the part of the version number before the dot changes (e.g. from version 1.72 to 2.00).
You cannot use your old registration key for an upgrade - you will need to obtain a new one. The price of the key will depend on when you bought your licence.
If you purchased the old licence within the last 180 days, the price of the upgrade will be the current difference in price (if any) between the old and new versions. Otherwise, the price of the upgrade will be 50% of the normal price of the new version.
You can purchase a version upgrade using the version upgrade form.
Level Upgrades
If you want to upgrade to a less restrictive licence for the same version of a product (e.g. from ModSnmp-300 to ModSnmp-600), you need to purchase a "level upgrade".
The price of a level upgrade is the current difference in price between the old and new licences.
You can purchase a level upgrade uaing the level upgrade form.

Privacy
The only information that we collect about you is what you provide during the ordering/registration procedure.
We use this information only for the purpose of processing your orders, and, if you have asked us to, for sending you news of updates and new products.
We do not pass your personal data on to any third party, except for the purpose of processing your order.
