The value of a register (e.g. $101) or environment property (e.g.$temp) or the pre-defined TimeNow variable is the value immediately before the start of the cycle. At the start of a cycle, a snapshot of all register and property values is taken and saved, and the value of TimeNow is also saved. It is this set of consistent saved values that is used during a cycle when a statement contains a reference to a register, an environment property or TimeNow.
