Wingpath to cease trading on 25 October 2025

From 25 October 2025 we will no longer be selling licences for our software products (ModSnmp, ModMultiSim, Modsak, ModSlaveSim, ModMaster and ModTest).

The website will remain operational until at least 2027 for reference purposes, and for the registration and transfer of product licences.

1.2. Running ModSnmp

ModSnmp can be run with a GUI (Graphical User Interface), or without a GUI as a server process. It is normally run as a server process (see Section 13, “Running as a server”), but must be initially run with a GUI in order to configure various settings.

To run ModSnmp with a GUI, use the command:

java -jar modsnmp3.15.jar

You will need to use the full pathname for the modsnmp3.15.jar file if it's not in your current directory.

To run ModSnmp under Windows, you can also use the Windows Run dialog or double-click on the icon or filename.

To exit from ModSnmp, select the FileExit menu item or click the close button of the main window.
